To use a DVD+R DL or 2 DVD+R

Hi guys, I need advise.

 

1. Should I use one (1) DVD+R DL or two (2) DVD+R media for my lengthy video?

2. If DVD+R DL media is used and booktype changed to DVD-ROM, will this be compatible to all DVD players?

1. Normally two +R discs are cheaper than one +R DL discs. One the other hand it can be nice to see the whole movie without having to switch disc during the playback.

 

2. Some players likes burned discs - some doesn't. Later models seems to be ok.
