I did try it on lower speeds also, didn't try to update the firmware since it never been a problem before. i just updated to Ashampoo Burning Studio 8 version 7, know if there is any conflicts? and i put in my old drive now trying to test if its my dvd drive that's about to die Ok it finished fine with the other drive, im gonna update the firmware and see if it helps Edited November 14, 2008 by grufle Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As long as the program doesn't install any odd filters it should be no problems. Also take in care that some burning programs doesn't report all error codes that the writer generates.
