Grantplaw Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Hi, I've searched on the forum with no luck in finding a solution to this. I've downloaded a 'movie' ISO image (Zeitgeist Addendum) and successfully burned it. It won't play in the (home theatre) DVD player, which displays a message of "Play Back Feature not available". All the files are on the DVD and it plays fine from my PC using PowerDVD. Anyone come across this before and know how to solve it? Thanks, Grant grant@nowiowenothing.com
Cynthia Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 What files are on the burned discs? Some .bup/.ifo/.vob files inse a VIDEO_TS folder? Can you post the burn log? You'll find it here: Main Menu -> Help -> ImgBurn Logs
mmalves Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 I've downloaded a 'movie' ISO image (Zeitgeist Addendum) and successfully burned it. The disc probably is in a region/color format not supported by your DVD player.
blutach Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 A surefire solution is to buy the disk. It's pretty much guaranteed to play in your players (standalones and software). Regards
