Command Sequence Error

Hi Guys.

Happy to have joined. Now the story is.. Had a LG DVD Drive for almost 2 years. Been using TDK CD-R and DVD. Never had a problem. The other day these errors kept on coming up. So I put a new SATA Pioneer DVD Burner in. Work the first time then now it happens everytime I try to burn something.

I have burnt images like this and heaps of others. Never had a problem until 2 days ago.

I used a verbatim disk as well. That burnt successfully. Don't have anymore of them though so can't test if it the disk. But why would they work for half the pack of 50 TDK CD-R's then just stop suddenly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced.

Cheers,

Kiz.

Your writer identifies the same discs as with different write speeds available.

I 12:25:15 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f) (Speeds: 4x, 10x, 16x, 24x, 32x)

I 16:13:53 Destination Media Type: CD-R (Disc ID: 97m15s17f) (Speeds: 4x, 10x)

The basic issue seems to be a write error

W 16:14:02 Failed to Write Sectors 416 - 447 - Reason: Write Error

Might be that you should try with another brand of discs.
