Just to let you guys know that I am also too getting the same error today using PRODATA Double Layer 8x DVD+R discs. I am running the latest version of the program as well (Imgburn 2.4.2.0). I am going to go out and buy some Verbatim discs as you suggest and see if it fixes the problem. The weird thing is that it only happens with certain discs and iso's that I am trying to burn.
