Streek Dime Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Before, I used to always use Roxio CD Creator to burn my .avi movie files to dvd. Recently, a friend recommended that I convert my .avi to movie files using DVDFlick and then use ImgBurner to create an ISO of the dvd files and burn them to the dvd. Is there a difference in using my old method compared to this new one? In the sense, does it give better quality or anything liek that?
Streek Dime Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 Nevermind .. i just finished the process and I could see a distinct quality difference. Burning the ISO has about atleast 10% better quality.
blutach Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Strange that - as the conversion from raw AVI to MPEG2 should (theoretically) lose quality. The ISO is irrelevant - it's just a container. Regards
