Before, I used to always use Roxio CD Creator to burn my .avi movie files to dvd. Recently, a friend recommended that I convert my .avi to movie files using DVDFlick and then use ImgBurner to create an ISO of the dvd files and burn them to the dvd.

Is there a difference in using my old method compared to this new one? In the sense, does it give better quality or anything liek that?

Strange that - as the conversion from raw AVI to MPEG2 should (theoretically) lose quality.

The ISO is irrelevant - it's just a container.
