Problems erasing BD RE

This is my first post on the forums, although I have been using imgburn for quite a while I have never had any problems untill yesterday. I purchased a LG GGW H20L from pc world for a cracking price of

Ps I dit not install the software that came with the drive Cyberlink power dvd or some thing is this my problem.

I have that very same drive and it has no problem with Verbatim media, I've seen several posts where people have been using other discs and the drive hasn't worked very well.

 

So my advice to you is to get Verbatim discs!

Thanks for the advice I will order some verbatim, have you had any experience with the TDK discs.

I've got a couple of the 50gb BD-RE ones and my drive has burnt those ok in the past. I might also have some single layer ones but I don't use them as I prefer the verbs

 

I'm guessing the BD-RE used in the log is the one that came with the drive? I didn't even bother to open mine!

Thats good news the postman didnt come today so my TDKs should be hear tomorrow will let you know how I get on
