Cynthia Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Hi and welcome to the forum, xrofl! Have you been able to write with that media before with success?
xrofl Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Hi, thanks. Umm yes I'm pretty sure I used some way in the past, but I dont think it was with ImgBurn. I rarely even use the comp./ burn things, so I'm not really experienced =/ Thanks Btw the brand is Maxell
Cynthia Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Most times the error "Power Calibration Area Error" is either that the writer could need a cleaning or it's on it's way to the dumpster or that the media in use is not liked by the writer.
xrofl Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Hmm, okay. What product do I use to clean the drive? Would they sell at Wal-Mart? And is there any way to check which discs my burner likes/dislikes? Thanks
Cynthia Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 I would try with some Verbatims. Disc cleaners (a disc with some alcohol) should be sold at most places that sells radios and tvs.
