Hi and welcome to the forum, xrofl! :)

Have you been able to write with that media before with success?

Hi, thanks. Umm yes I'm pretty sure I used some way in the past, but I dont think it was with ImgBurn. I rarely even use the comp./ burn things, so I'm not really experienced =/ Thanks

Btw the brand is Maxell

Most times the error "Power Calibration Area Error" is either that the writer could need a cleaning or it's on it's way to the dumpster or that the media in use is not liked by the writer.

Hmm, okay. What product do I use to clean the drive? Would they sell at Wal-Mart? And is there any way to check which discs my burner likes/dislikes?

Thanks

I would try with some Verbatims.

Disc cleaners (a disc with some alcohol) should be sold at most places that sells radios and tvs.
