dvd burning question

Iwas wondering if there was a way take .avi files and make a dual layer dvd using IMGburn. i can get it to work as a data disc but not as a dvd rom. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

you need a conversion programme to do that, something like dvd flick or convertxtodvd
