Time stamp on playback

is there a way of removing the continious stamp timer 00:00 on the playback

 

help would be greatfully

sorry about that. i tried it on my friends dvd player. it was my dvd player display that was showing the time stamp..

i feel very stupid now, sorry about that!! you see I dont have a remote for my player it is a 2nd hand machine., when i locate a simular working remote i will be able to turn off the display timer
