mmalves Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 W 00:48:31 Failed to Write Sectors 2240 - 2271 - Reason: Power Calibration Area Error This is the real error and means the drive doesn't properly support the media you're using (quite common when using new media with old burners). You could try finding newer firmware for it, or maybe crossflashing to a DRU-510A, but the easiest solution is to buy a new burner, as they're pretty cheap nowadays
