natedigity
I just got an iso image from my school of xp. it's not my hardware, cd etc. But ive set it to burn image then write at 1x and kept the verify box checked and it still burns super fast (like 1 minute for 600 mb. that couldn't be 1x right?))? are there any instructions on how to burn iso images the absolute slowest. its 4.7 dvd's im using and the burner is awesome. Any help guys
dontasciime
buy slower speed dvds/ cd's and use older dvd/cd writer Or just burn on modern equipment at 8x for dvd on 8-16x media and it will be no different to a slower burn on slower media. As long as it verifies and you use decent media it will be fine

blutach
Your log will tell you the rated speeds (that comes from your firmware) for the drive and media. Pick the lowest and set that up in the auto write speed. Regards
