all drivers are up to date, as well as firmware.

I came across a problem with finalizing discs and I have no idea what is going on. I do not remember system changes that I have done in order to cause the problems. When I was backing up an xbox 360 it showed a disc finalization error and I eventually had to continue without finalizing the disc yet it still played on my xbox. This was done on my pioneer drive. I have done some dvd burning as well with my samsung drive with convertxtodvd, and have come across constant disc finalization errors, yet the dvds still works on players and my computer.

The only thing i can think of for this happening is maybe i deleted something i needed when i ran registry cleaners, or I recently had a problem with BSODs and unexpected shutdowns (i think was caused by rivatuner and graphics card). I dont get them anymore, but i still have the finalization problems. I use verbatim dvd+r dl and dvd+r.

Here is the imgburn log and if you want to look at the convertxtodvd log please ask.

no, go into properties for the controller, find the properties for the driver and roll them back from there

sorry my internet was down so I couldnt say the results.

Yes it was the ide driver. When i updated to the latest nvidia nforce drivers, i couldnt finalize discs. I tried the Microsoft drivers but those did not fix the problem. I went back to very old nvidia nforce drivers provided by the asus support site which fixed it.

Thank you for the help.
