problem formatting dvd

i'm trying to burn a .iso onto my dvd+rw, and when i choose to format my dvd it gives me an error....

There's firmware KL0P available for your burner. Remove any disc and close the tray before applying. Reboot after it has finished. If this doesn't solve your problem, get better media such as Verbatim DVD+RW
