Feyzir Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I am trying to burn the Windows 7 Beta to a DVD+R disc. I keep on getting Power Calibration Errors. I have tried three discs, all from the same store bought stack, all of which fail. Tried lowering the speed to 6x, but the same problem happens. blutach Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 Get better media - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden are the only ones we recommend. Look for a firmware update from Philips. Regards
Feyzir Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 It seems like the drive went bad. It came with my Dell Inspiron 530, and when I replaced the drive with a new Asus one, it burned fine. Just to say what my results were.
spinningwheel Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know what the problem/outcome was.
