Hockey Is Erick Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Does ImgBurn have the ability to back up and to restore an entire partition? If yes, how? If no, does such a freeware exist? If yes, what's its name? Edited January 14, 2009 by Hockey Is Erick
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 No, it's an optical disc burning util, not a hdd one. Acronis TrueImage is good but it's not free.

Thank you for the prompt reply, LIGHTNING UK!. I've scouted ImgBurn for awhile but wasn't sure if it would fulfill my needs. Do you know of a freeware that would do the job? I need to make only one backup, so paid software wouldn't pay.

I have been using Acronics True Image for several years. It's the best backup you can buy. I had several HDD issues and the data recovery for the Primary & Secondary disks is very efficient. Not forgetting ImgBurn - the best & the greatest!. I've have now dropped Nero 8. I second your recommdation LIGHTNING.
