sd359 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I am having trouble verifying the disk. I have updated my nvidia drivers but my firmware for my burner will not let me. Have any suggestions? I am using BGS4 firmware now, liteon says BSOY is the newest. When I run the flash it says no compatible drives, but it list the liteon sohw 1633s bgs4. The BSOY is for the 1633s so I'm at a loss. 17:25:39 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! LOCOENG Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 The burns are successful, but the verification is failing...do the discs play? They should still be viewable, but you won't be able to rerip them. I would recommend some nice Verbatim discs.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 and yes, try 8x or 12x. Max speed burning on crappy media is never going to end well
sd359 Posted January 16, 2009 Author Posted January 16, 2009 Hey everyone thanks for all the quick responses. I tried the -R disc and it completed. The burn speed on the -R disc was much lower, I think it averaged about 6x. I just bought 50 +R and 50-R, my options were limited where I live and of course I was in a hurry. I'm going to order some better discs. Thanks for all the good suggestions.
