Won't write faster than 1x

Hi everybody,

 

I have a current problem that occured a couple days ago. I used to burn double layer dvd's (xbox 360 games) with a writing speed of 8x, and now all of the sudden Imgburn won't write faster than 1x. I tried different set ups like max or auto speed but it sticks to 1x. And it won't even finish burnig, because after 50 % or something an 1/0 error comes up I have never had before.

Can anybody help me please? I really need to get it back working and writing at 8x.

Hi and welcome to the forum, unearth187!

 

One thing that could be the issue is that DMA is no longer enabled for your writer.
