ImgBurn came highly reccommended. But my first attempt hasn't worked Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?? I/O Error! LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Avoid using rewritable discs where possible, they're not as good/reliable as write once media. I definatly have learnt about what discs to buy in the future Is it simply the discs that have caused this error message then? Posted January 19, 2009 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Yes, although the drive claims to have written to the disc without a problem, it's then not able to read it back again - meaning it didn't burn it very well in the first place and the quality is very low.
