I use a program that usually converts my .avi files to DVD files (ie. .vob, IFO & BUP files) which I typically burn with another program. For some reason when I converted my .avi file, I got a file that was called: "movie_mpeg2video.mpg" instead of my usual .vob, IFO & BUP files. Can ImgBurn create a DVD directly from this file? If so, what would be the steps? I've looked at the guides, but am a bit confused.

I dragged the movie_mpeg2video.mpg file into the ImgBurn program, but when I tried to write or create an image, I got the following message:

You've only selected 1 folder!

Does the "movie" folder represent the root directory for the image content?

(Otherwise, the 'movie' folder will be visible in the root directory of the image.)

I have no idea what that means.

Obviously I don't know what I'm doing.

Thanks in advance

No. ImgBurn can't convert video. You need to use another program to get it into .vob, .ifo, bup files first.

Are you familiar with DVD Flick? That's what I usually use with no problem to provide DVD files, but for some reason it spit out this "mpeg2video.mpg" file. What can I use to make the "mpeg2video.mpg" file DVD-ready?

You'll need to ask on the DVD Flick forums. Some sort of setting has gone awry or you have selected a different mode than you used to.
