I then installed it. well first when it restarted it say that a few things were missing file=window\system32\winload.exe status=0xc000000d missing my question is what did I do wrong? I removed it from my hd and went and redownloaded it again and used IMG and still the same thing .so it must be something im doing, any help would be appreciated...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Have you verified your image is ok by checking its MD5 hash value? When you have, burn + verify it. If that all works, I see no reason for any issue. Are you trying to upgrade an existing OS or starting from scratch on a blank hdd?
jeniece Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 I used verify and said all ok. also im using it as a new install not upgrade.so I'm very confused...
mmalves Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Have you tried what LUK suggested? Have you verified your image is ok by checking its MD5 hash value? This is important to ensure the download wasn't corrupted.

This may sound strange to you, but you should check your pc's memory, with memtest86+ for example. As this is ImgBurn support forum, I can not help you with diagnosing hardware problems not related to burning.
