im using a lite-on dvd burner & 8x dvd+r dl BULKPAQ.

HERES MY LOG

ok, i spoke too soon. it was working, until

Your discs are crap, get the ones we recommend in the post by corny...or put up with hit and miss burns. <_<

You've downloaded the RAR file yeah?

 

Open it (you'll need WinRAR or similar to decompress it) and then run the exe that's inside.

Ah, thanks, didn't have WinRAR installed. But, it's still not working?

This utility is only for LITE-ON DVDRW...

lol you have a totally different drive and therefore need different firmware. (That's what you get for hijacking other peoples threads!)

That said, you have an HP machine yeah? According to the HP website, '8H1F' is the latest firmware release.

 

You may or may not be able to flash with 8P55... and I'm not even sure if you'd want to (8H1F was released after it - Jan Vs April)
