Merlincat Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I recorded a TV program on the Media Center and used the imburn 2.4.2.0 edition to download the program onto a TDK DVD-R 4.7GB/GO DVD. The DVD plays back very well on the Dell Computer, but will not play on any of our DVD players. The DVD players are OK with all other store bought DVD's but is not designed to play DVD+/- RW discs which is why I recorded on a DVD-R disc. Thanks. If you open up the burned disc in Windows Explorer, can you then see a VIDEO_TS folder with some .bup/.ifo/.vob files inside. There might also be an AUDIO_TS folder in the root of the disc. mmalves Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 You might need to convert the video(s) to DVD-Video format before burning, so they'll play on any DVD player.
