Packrat1947
Hi, I'm a brand new user of imageburn. My project is make an .iso of out a complete HD, and mount it in vmware. Hopefully, it will boot and install. Anyone have any expirence with this? Any step-by-step tutorial for this. I see a lot about burning to a CD or dvd, but not saving to a USB drive. The iso will probably be a lot bigger than a DVD. Thanks for any ideas. Packrat1947

Marine Gundoc
Might be better to use something like Clonezilla. It is free software. Just download the live cd image, burn it to a cd with ImgBurn, and reboot the computer from the CD. That way you can clone the hard drive. ImgBurn won't make an image of your HDD because many system files are in use and constantly changing.
