Being the novice i am i'm having some trouble burning a dvd, I have done everything i'm sapose to (well at least i think so) but when i try to burn it comes up as an I/O Error, what is that any way i havn't a clue.

Any way i've read some of the other posts but nothing seems to be the same as my problem, so as i've seen on the other posts here is what comes up

A simple cut and paste of the error that you received, had you copied it to our search function, would have revealed this:

 

Reason: Program Memory Area Update Failure.

 

Also, your choice of media:

 

I 15:52:44 Destination Media Type: DVD-RW (Disc ID: TDK601saku) (Speeds: 2x, 4x)

 

is not the best either. Try some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim ( Made in Singapore ) discs to fully ensure the least amount of grief.
