smu johnson Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Quick question: Is the .VOB chapter selection, etc, that was present from DVD Decryptor never going to be implemented in ImgBurn? I realize ImgBurn is basically DVD Decryptor + New - CSS... but I didn't realize that other features went missing. The reason I bring this is up is because one guy didn't know that ImgBurn was the "new" DVD Decryptor, and I tried to "lead him to water", but he said he wasn't going to touch it because of this one feature he uses. Please discuss!
cornholio7 Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 imgburn will never touch copy protection, if you want to copy unprotected vobs then use explorer. using decrypter for burning is like running windows 3.11 - it will never get any better than it is . imgburn is constantly being improved
LIGHTNING UK! Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 ImgBurn isn't the new DVD Decrypter at all. It's simply a continuation of the 'Write' mode that was present in DVD Decrypter and is a burning utility rather than a DVD ripper. A VOB ripper has no place in a burning util.
