shen293
Just a random thought that came by me, And I was confused with whats a dual and single layer of a disc... as I've read about ppl trying to burn single layer or dual layer... basically whats the difference? and how do I know if my burner and my media is single or dual compatible (Not sure if the question actually makes sense to you guys)
mmalves
Single layer media is advertised as 4.7GB discs while dual-layer media is advertised as 8.5GB discs. You can see your burner's capabilities in ImgBurn by going to the Tools menu -> Drive -> Capabilities. For a few years now all burners support both -R and +R DVD standards as well as dual-layer media More Info
