topcattroy Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Hello all , new to this forum.. I've used image burn for every 360 game. When i downloaded some games the file system comes up, udf or iso9660. Whenever i burned the file it comes up media files and cant boot them. Ive tried slower speeds. different disk brands. All with the same effect. So i must be doing something wrong. My flashed 360 is a ntsc format. How do i change the file system to the format so my 360 will read it. Any help would be great. thanks in advance topcattroy
mmalves Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Where's the log showing a burn + verify on Verbatim media? By the way the xbox360 doesn't use those filesystem so you don't need to worry about them.
topcattroy Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 it says it burnt it ok. When i put it in the 360 it comes up mixed media. The games im trying to write are said to be region free. but everygame ive tried thats region free dosen't work. The files say that they are iso9660 udf. I think this is were my problems at.
mmalves Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 Did you leave Verify enabled? Did it pass the Verify stage? Without the log it's hard to help you. Look in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs.

Remove any disc and close the tray before updating. Reboot after it has finished updating. You should select the .dvd file as the image to burn. If there isn't one, create an MDS file (look in the Tools menu) for your ISO image with the layerbreak at 1913760.

topcattroy Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 i thought i did set it to 1913760 ill try again thanks for the speedy post
topcattroy Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 ok does this mean i have to layer break it at that number always for any game file. getting ready to burn now again thanks for all the help
topcattroy Posted February 28, 2009 Author Posted February 28, 2009 i usually use image burn and never had to do this if i ripped from disc. I use xbc and it always worked. Is this a different type of rip. (region free) because i have never been able to burn them succefully and should i use this number for every file thats region free, or does that number change per file. Not sure how you came up with that number 1917360
