Set Read Speed purpose

what is read speed for?

 

Does ImgBurn do on-the-fly or something.

 

I only have one drive so I guess I wouldn't know.

The option is there for people who may want to try a slow read speed in order to read a scratched/damaged disc. Notice that not all drives respect this command.
