barbara Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Hi..Another newbie here..I downloaded a movie that is an iso file. I have been converting and burning the avi file movies with no problem. I burned the movie on Nero and it would only play back on the computer not my dvd player. Did some research and found out that you cannot ever play an iso on a dvd player. Someone suggested this imgburn would do the trick. I read the guide and some of the forum and someone posted that you use the write image file to disc option and I read the guide to make sure I did it right. Burned a couple of dvds that once again worked like a charm on the computer and not on the dvd player. It says something like The playback feature . I use t yuden disks and am sure thats not the problem. I also learned enough to know that you want a log so here it is... I 16:13:11 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 16:13:11 Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 16:13:11 Total Physical Memory: 514,124 KB - Available: 117,676 KB I 16:13:11 Initialising SPTI... I 16:13:11 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 16:13:12 Found 1 DVD
mmalves Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 It burned and verified fine, which means the disc was correctly burned. Most likely it's a PAL/NTSC issue.
