Wassup Folks!

I jsut got a DVD Burner this weekend and was able to burn two movies, Gladiator and Snatch. I'm now experiencing an error message trying to download, 300.

I'm VERY, VERY new to this, so please help a rookie to get this resolved.

Here are the error messages displayed:

There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image.

Image size: 3,611,808 Sectors (7,054 MB)

Disc size: 2,298,496 Sectors (4,489 MB)

Would you like to continue anyway?

I clicked "Yes", and the second error message I got is:

I/O Error!

Scsi Status: 0x02

Interpretation: Check Condition

I then clicked "Cancell", and got the last message:

Failed to Reserve Track!

Reason: Invalid Field in CDB

Below is the error log:

Do you honestly expect 7GB to fit on a 4.37GB disc?

I know that the Image won't fit on to the disk, so my question is:

"How can I shrink the 7GB file to fit onto the 4.37 GB disk?"

Hey mmalves,

I was able to burn the CD, but now when I play it on the XBox it says "Mix Media"? When ImgBurn was completed, it said "Successfully Completed"....do you know why the XBox can't read it?

Here's the log info:

I 09:07:35 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!

The log seems to show you have DMA issues... or the drive where all your 'Source' files are is just REALLY slow.

If it's DMA, follow the post in the FAQ to correct it.

The disc you burnt there was 1GB in size. Is it actually supposed to be a DVD Video disc? (It's not!)

By the looks of it you've just burnt an AVI file or something - in which case 'Mix Media' is probably right.
