mmalves Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 What's the brand of that disc? Have you been able to use it before with that same burner?
tom@home Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 I never burned dvd, but i am sure. The brand of the disc is: Verbatim DVD-RW for recording 4.7 GB 120 min 4x Certified
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 It looks to me as though you've updated your drivers or something and now they're blocking the command used to format optical media. Edit: Or if you've never tried burning before, that issue has probably always been there.
tom@home Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 (edited) Mhm, ok.....? What i could do then ? Edit: I can burn CD, and i think i burned a DVD long ago,too Edited March 16, 2009 by tom@home
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Find out which type of controllers you have in your PC and update all their drivers. Do you know anything about the motherboard in your PC?
tom@home Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 No really. I have a Asusu P5B Delux board.
mmalves Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Install the latest JMicron WHQL driver and try again.
