LIGHTNING UK!
Have you tried burning at 2.4x and 4x? If they both fail, try this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 If they fail (with the same error), read this: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860 ... and then you'll probably just end up buying a new drive. LIGHTNING UK!
You can't and it wouldn't make a difference anyway. 2x isn't possible on your drive so it'll be burning at 2.4x... which just leaves you to try 4x and then follow my other advice.
