You have to burn something to the disc before you can booktype it and the result will be DVD-ROM not DVD-R. Have you changed the booktype in the settings for your drive?

I've only attempted to change settings through IMGburn. I'll burn something and report my findings.

You have to have a disc in the drive when you change the settings from 'DVD+R' to 'DVD-ROM', then if the change went through you should have a popup saying "success!"

I'm sorry, but is that before I begin to Burn my Disk or after?

If it's before, I still get the error while trying to change

It should all be automatic so if it's not working, either your drive doesn't support the booktype command or your drivers are blocking it.

Where would I look to see if It's supported?

Edit: Nevermind, problem solved, I can Change it now.
