Celestial Being Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I have an ISO Copy of Twilight, that i just burned onto a DVDR using IMGBurn. After it was all done burning i took out the DVDR and tried to play it on my Xbox 360 but all i got was a black screen. Now im just wondering if for some reason it doesnt play on the Xbox, but will it play on a regular DVD player? Cuz i tried watching it on the computer and it worked fine. So can someone please help me.
Cynthia Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Hi and welcome to the foorum, Celestial Being! In what format is that 'Twilight'? .vob/.avi/.xvid... Can your player play such formats?
Celestial Being Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 Well its an Image File. That's all i know. it doesnt tell me anything else. but usually when i burn a DVD it works perfectly on the 360.
mmalves Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Please post the log from that burn (you can find the logs in Help menu -> ImgBurn Logs).
Cynthia Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 If you open up the burned disc in Windows Explorer - what type of files do you see then?

mmalves Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Try burning at 8x to see if you get a better burn.
Celestial Being Posted March 29, 2009 Author Posted March 29, 2009 Try burning at 8x to see if you get a better burn. ok, so i followed ur advice and burned at 8x. and nothing changed. i still get the black screen.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 If it burnt any verified ok, there is nothing more you can do where ImgBurn is concerned. If it won't play then you need to look at it being something wrong with the image you're burning or the xbox not liking those discs.
