Hi just got this error on full erase,it got something like 35% and i checked it 5 mins later and it showed 5% then went to 100% and said it was successful.Write and verify show successful. My blu-ray drive is the LG BE06LUI0 and i have recently installed a firmware update for it which upgraded it from YE03 to YE05. I'm useing a Sony bd-re 50gb. It would have tried a slightly different format command after the one that failed... and that appears to have worked.

Sorry don't understand reply,after the error it started reformating it self automatically i did'nt change anything.

The (first) command failed so the program tried a slightly different one (automatically).

 

It finished ok in the end so don't worry about it.

 

The LG drives don't really seem to like any BD-RE discs apart from Verbatim ones and I don't think they do DL ones yet.

Hi, Could anyone tell me where i could get a verbatim bd-re 50 gb(i've been told they are the best to use for my drive) i can only see 25gb ones which are basically obsolete for burning blu-ray movies as more than 95% of blu-ray movies are more than 25gb. I'm in the UK. Thanks in advance.Sorry if i'm in the wrong section.

No need for a new thread, your other one (now this one) was only 3 from the top!

 

It's not hard to google for media, do some research.

 

Note that I did say Verbatim don't actually appear to make BD-RE DL yet.
