title says it all pretty much when i select a speed of 2.4 it still burns at 4.0

 

also ive noticed that it gets to 100 percent the disk drive opens and then closes and starts burning aagain

 

any suggestions?

well it wouldnt be logged its as simple as i select 2.4x burn speed and whilst its writing it goes at 4.0x and do i need to verify my disks? cause its an additional 20 minutes

anyway not to undermind you this is what im doign as we speak as you see ive selected write speed of 2 this time it is going at 4 as it writes

2.4X isn't supported by your firmware/burner so all you have to choose from is 4X, 6X, and 8X.

 

There is a firmware update available for your burner which may give you more speeds to choose from...1.03 from here ~ http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22NP20/files.html

 

It's not required to verify your burns, but it does serve a purpose.
