mmalves Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Since there isn't more than one available write speed and there are no firmware updates for your burner, you should try with Verbatim media.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Once it's been formatted (which it has), burn to the disc using Discovery mode with 'FastWrite' disabled (incase you've turned it on) and 'Verify' enabled (incase you've turned it off).

I would love to try a Verbatim bd-re 50gb but after much googeling i've discovered they don't exist. Also as you probably know a 25gb one is no good because about 98% of all blu-ray movies are over 25gb.
