Swamp Rat Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Let me preface this with the fact that I know just enughf about computers to be dangerous(to the computer) My first adventure in burning I ripped/burned a disc and all went well. My second has been a miserable failure and I am ready to toss the computer. I downloaded several different movies from the same site which s suppose to be download/burn friendly(prisonplanet.tv). I have watched the movies online with WMP and downloaded in the same format and when I burn them everything seems to go good but I get the same message when I try to play them in a stand alone player. DISK ERROR Playback feature not availale on this disk and when I try to play them on the computer with WMP it says I do not have the right codex. I tried downloading the same movies from Demonoid.com that were ripped from the DVD's in .avi files and I get the same thing, burn goes as planned but the disc will not play. I now have 11 discs that are suitable for frisbees.. Help!! Here is the log from the last burn I 17:59:52 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 17:59:52 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6001 : Service Pack 1) I 17:59:52 Total Physical Memory: 1,037,696 KB - Available: 387,436 KB I 17:59:52 Initialising SPTI...
