I just upgraded my ImgBurn and I can't burn a blu ray .iso to disc. I'm doing it the way that I used to, but the "write" button won't light up after I choose the the .iso file and check "write" mode. And after I quick erase the disc still says that there is data on it. I just want to use the program. Anyway to get back to the old version? Thanks!

If you're erasing it, it must be a BD-RE yeah?

If so, the program just overwrites any existing data, same as it has always done.

What EXACTLY does it say in the status bar and please copy + paste all the disc info from the panel on the right.

Reverting to an old version doesn't solve anything. Tell me what the problems are and I'll fix them.

I'm half way through a full erase - I'll report back as to the results and give you the info if it still doesn't work...

Your drive thinks the disc is a BD-ROM and therefore not rewritable.

You've probably got Alcohol or DAEMON Tools installed and they're messing things up.

Turn off the option inside those programs that cloaks rewritable media.

Add this to the strangeness... I noticed that the erasable status says no... so I tried two of my other BD-REs and they said yes there - then I put the original disc back in and now it reads as yes and the write button is activated... I'm going to try to make a copy.

I did just update Alcohol today. No DAEMON tools here. I'll try your suggestion if I have further issues! Thanks for the help!

You will have, make sure you disable that option or it'll keep messing thing up.

You can find it under the 'View' menu -> 'Options' -> 'Emulation' -> 'Hide Media Type'.... make sure it's not checked.
