frigidaire Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 can i change the supported write speed of imageburn? because mine is at 4.0 x and when i want to burn a dvd+r dl it at 2.4x , it always burn at 4.0 x, can i find a solution ? thx
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 ImgBurn gets its information from your drive and your media. You can't select a speed that your hardware doesn't support.
mmalves Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Adding to what Shamus said, slower doesn't necessarily mean a better burn. Most newer burners, for example, do better burns on dual-layer media at 4x, sometimes even faster. If you want more help then describe to us your problem and also post a log of the problem (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
frigidaire Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 yes ,but in the manuel of my burner i can read that's my burner can write my dvd+r dl at 2.4x. but i think a have no choice to burn at 4.0 x , so thx anyway guys
spinningwheel Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Quit being a pain-in-the-ass and take a minute and post the log... What your manual says doesn't mean a damned thing without seeing what the drive says it can do on the media you have chosen.
