How would I go on and burn an .avi file to a cd-r disc?

Because when I attempt to do it, it says that it's not supported, but I think ive done it before, just can't remember.

Sounds like you're in Write mode - which is for burning disc images.

An avi file is not a disc image.

You want Build mode.

Thanks, now it worked.

By the way, if I should add subtitles to my movie, should I just name it like the .avi file, and just add it with the .avi files ?

You'd have to see how your player likes them to be named.

Okay, I got it now, thanks :)

i haven't had any luck with SUBS + AVI using my home DVD Player...

What i do now is use a software called ConvertXtoDVD to convert the AVI file to DVD-Video format....

and while doing so, i can add my SUB in there too and from there it worked!

cuz once in DVD-Video format, any home dvd player can play it...

Or you could use dvd flick but convert x to dvd is much easier to use, remember to buy your copies kids.
