Kadir Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 How would I go on and burn an .avi file to a cd-r disc? Because when I attempt to do it, it says that it's not supported, but I think ive done it before, just can't remember.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Sounds like you're in Write mode - which is for burning disc images. An avi file is not a disc image. You want Build mode.
Kadir Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 (edited) Thanks, now it worked. By the way, if I should add subtitles to my movie, should I just name it like the .avi file, and just add it with the .avi files ? Edited April 11, 2009 by Kadir
LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 You'd have to see how your player likes them to be named.
eSkRo Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 (edited) Okay, I got it now, thanks i haven't had any luck with SUBS + AVI using my home DVD Player... What i do now is use a software called ConvertXtoDVD to convert the AVI file to DVD-Video format.... and while doing so, i can add my SUB in there too and from there it worked! cuz once in DVD-Video format, any home dvd player can play it...
