LIGHTNING UK! Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Bad disc? Drive needs cleaning? Drive is faulty? What make is your laptop? Perhaps they'll have a firmware update for the drive to make it better.
dizchinorichie Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Those may be true but the drive should be running fine- ive used it to burn dvd movies without a problem. I have an HP DV9000, bought it awhile ago so I don't know if i have the updated drivers. I also have another question; when i go to change the booktype, i click lite-on, and change for DVD+R DL media. the problem is, under current setting, it says "UNKNOWN: FAILED! REASON: NO ADDITIONAL SENSE INFORMATION" and i cant even change my "new setting" area to DVD-ROM. Am i doing something wrong?
