nilum Posted December 12, 2009 Share Posted December 12, 2009 I'd like to know if it is possible to change my Pioneer DVR-212D's booktype to -ROM. Do I need hacked firmware to do this? Currently my firmware version is 1.21. There is newer firmware available, but I am not sure if it's worth it to upgrade. I was reading the guide to changing booktype and it said: Also there are a few drives which aren't capable of booktyping/bitsetting at all out of the box...Pioneer drives being one make. Is there a way to do it with IMGBurn? ... accidentally after I followed this guide... I forgot to restart my PC before I burnt the disk? I will probably need to reburn it eh? Never tried to burn without restarting so I have no idea if it works or not.
