Momentary pauses during playback

Recommended Posts

Hey Kirk, Try burning at 2.4X on DL media even if they can handle faster burns, not that that is an issue here, but it will increase your chances of a good burn. The logs look alright, and the discs do play well in your Panasonic, so like the others I'm assuming its your toshiba player that just doesn't like them. If it was a bad burn thingy then more than likely even your Panasonic would cough when viewing the finished product.:)

I'll give that a go on the next burn kev, let you all know in a couple a days or is plans change, maybe tonight.

But like everyone else and you say, think its the Toshiba thats just having a love/hate relationship with me over the DL media :/

OK, I can't confirm the end resultst for sure till I watch the movie, really just need to watch it for the momentary pauses. However I did put it in and went to a chapter one hour into the flick where the pauses usually get real bad to the point of every 10 seconds and guess what; I watched about a 5 minutes and no pauses so maybe thats the key Kev

I know, I know someone else *COUGH* already told me to do that =))

I'll let you know for sure after I watch it and be sure that solved the problem

Just thought I'd let you all know, the burn at 2.4X didn't pause as much, but none the less it still did and eventually got worse enough I had to put it in the panasonic to finish playing the movie. :(

So for now I guess I got two choices, use the panasonic or continue to use Taiyo Yuden single layers and compress >_<

Just ordered a spindle of +R's  and the PC is going to choke because I got quit a few to compress :whistling:

Thanks again for everyones help.
