...or use System Restore and install ImgBurn again, paying careful attention to the options.
-
Try this:
Create your data disc using whatever program you like.
Open the DVD Burner window.
(I used Ashampoo Burning Studio 20126)
Add the files that you want to use.
Look to see how much space is left:
i.e. 3gb used
1gb Free
Open up a command prompt
(Right click on Start then Command Prompt)
Create a dummy file to use the free space
enter the following:
Quote:echo "This is just a sample line appended to create a big file " > dummy.txt
for /L %i in (1,1,24) do type dummy.txt >> dummy.txtthe parameter 24 creates a 1GB file.
I just copied it and pasted it into the command prompt window.
25 would create a 2GB file.
23 would create a 500mB file.
You will find your file here:
File C:\Users\<yourname>\dummy.txt
You can use copy and paste to create as many files as you wish to fill the required space.
Add the required files to the DVD.
I added dummy.txt (a 1gb dummy file)
Burn the DVD.
It works!
The DVD looks full.from page 2 here:

Just curious: Why?

AME should run on Windows 10. If it doesn't, you can look into this:
-
Drag the folder over holding the video_ts folder and you're done. If IMGBurn asks you to make certain corrections, let it. But pretty sure there are tutorials, might want to check the tutorials section ;-)
hi
ok
but i want to burn mp4 video or other format , i guess i need to tool to convert them
No, you don't. Just export from Adobe Media Encoder or directly from Premiere Pro to MP4 or whatever you want.
You only need Encore to make a DVD compliant file, in which case you would export as DVD mpeg-2 and then bring it into Encore to author it.

If you install an old version, one prior to OpenCandy being offered, you won't get it. Then just update to the latest version from within ImgBurn.
-
I've never done it, but if given directions, I could try it.
-
Yes, it does. Maybe I should reinstall?
-
I am opening ImgBurn directly from a shortcut on the taskbar:
-
I set the dropdown to 2 and burned 2 copies after checking the Remember 'Copies'.
When I closed and reopened ImgBurn, it did not "remember."
-
I tried that and then burned 2 copies. I closed ImgBurn and reopened it and it still defaulted to 1 copy.
-
Is there a way to make the Burn Files to Disc default 2 copies instead of having to change it from 1 each time I open ImgBurn?

What do we use now?
Verbatims with the AZO dye?

You aren't verifying it against the source data when you verify for a second time
What is it verifying against?

ImgBurn is for burning discs, not for putting files onto flash drives. I think you need help from a different type of forum.
-
Eventually, SSD's will replace mechanical HD's so you will ONLY have an SSD
When that time comes, we won't have DVDs any longer.

"The product is authentic. Manufacture using single layer DVDs do not means they are not genuine. You can find exactly same products sell in amazon.com and the price is much higher.
May be you do not often purchase Asia DVDs. Asia DVDs usually using single layer DVDs and compress the video. Also you should not watch Asia DVD by PS3, computer or other game machine. They usually only can be watch by regular DVD players.
We understand if you watch by very big TV, the video quality may not looks very good. However most our customers who watch by TVs which up to 42 inches do not report any problem."
The poor grammar is a sure indication.

I must have missed something. I'll watch even closer next time I install it. Perhaps an easier way is to install it from an installation file that was created before you used OpenCandy and then just update it.
-
The latest download from the ImgBurn mirror did not seem to allow a custom install option to not install OpenCandy. Other software within the custom install allowed a choice not to install. I had to use Malwarebytes Antimalware (the free version) to remove OpenCandy:

It may be the external drive's own software that is powering it down. Is there any utilities installed on the external drive? What is the model of the drive?

Where is the log?
