  1. Sorry for the late reply. Forgot I had asked this until I wanted to burn another CD lol. Thank you for the help.
  2. Hi all, First the site is looking very nice. I like the redesign. I haven't been here in a while. Quick question about burning an mp3 cd. I followed the guide and I am going to burn one to use in my car cd player which plays mp3 and wma etc. Is there a way to burn the cd so that more mp3 files fit on the disc than a normal cd. I know there is a way to do that but i am not sure if I can do it with imgburn. I think it has to do with the way you burn it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  3. Gotcha, now I will know in the future. Thanks again.
  4. You have been very helpful. Anyone getting advice should take it. He does a great job. A+.

    Thanks again!

  5. Thank you Sir, I am now at V28. I thought that was all it would have taken but I didn't know how to do it. Worked like a charm. This has been very valuable info. Thanks again. Question, did you have to alter any of the batch files or did you just replace the versions of the .bin file?
  6. Lol thats what I thought I could try. I will give it a go. Then let you know. Thanks One thing, Should I extract that then use imgburn to make an .iso. Or is it already one?
  7. Almost, problem for me is that the .iso is version 33 the most current. I am on v25 and they recommend I update to v28 first as it is not stable to go from anything before v28 to v33. I downloaded the .iso and I am thinking I could just edit it to be v28 but not sure if that is advisable.
  8. Ok, problem for me is I don't see any IDE compatibility mode. Not sure my mobo has this ability or not. BFG 680i SLI. I was wondering if I told it to put the info into the root would I need to have the CD drivers?
  9. Ok, problem for me is I don't see any IDE compatibility mode. Not sure my mobo has this ability or not. BFG 680i SLI.
  10. Ok, I was able to get it to boot and emulate the floppy. Could not get to the files. A:> prompt only. When I went to burn the image it said I only selected one folder and did I want that info to be in the root directory. I said no but should I be saying yes? Also I only have SATA devices. So I am not sure if that will make a difference? When you told me about changing the storage controller to IDE mode.
  11. ok about to try it. Wish me luck!
  12. Ok, The fact that I am using a 64 bit OS wont make a difference will it?
  13. ok Thanks I will try this and see if I can get it to work. Don't have any RW discs at the moment. I will update when I get some.
  14. Ok so I know I can make an .iso out of the flash utilities. I just need to know how to make it bootable, Can anyone help me out with that? Just need it to boot to a command prompt to I can flash.
  15. Hi, I have Vista 64 and a BFG 680i SLI motherboard. I am trying to flash my BIOS. I don't have a floppy drive in my system. I was having issues with USB drive on boot-up. I was going to use a USB drive to flash the BIOS however it not working. I was wondering if I could make an .iso out of the files, (their flash utility and .bin file) make the CD bootable and use that to flash. Is that possible? and how do I make the CD bootable? I see the tab but do not know where to get the files to make it bootable. If anyone could help me out or point me to a guide that would be great. Thanks in advance for any info.
  16. Thanks for the info. I think I got it right. I will know soon.
  17. I have an XPsp3 folder that I want to make a bootable image out of and burn to DVD. I selected the folder which seems to have all the info that was on the disc. Its a complete copy. I selected make an image from files or folders. It made the image file. I then selected write image to disk and it informed me I was trying to make an operating system disc. This all seems fine. However when I insert the CD into the machine it tells me I need to insert bootable media. I hear the disc spin up but it wont load from CD. Any Ideas? I started to install Windows from a sp1 CD then they key i had didn't work. I decided to start over with this disk I am trying to make and save time. I turned the machine off and inserted the disc I have and it told me to insert bootable media. I even changed it in the BIOS to only boot from CD but it wont anymore. I just need to know if I am not making the Disc correctly or if it may be something else.
  18. I made an image according to the guide. Tried to burn a CD. I keep getting an error just as its about to burn. Can anyone give me some insight? Log: I 18:49:27 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! 19. Finally got Vista 64 installed and working halfway decent. I am going to reinstall imgburn and see what I get. If I get the same thing I will post a log. Thanks
  20. Update: I changed the media which eliminated the I/O write errors but I still get errors when it is finalizing the disc. I also still get the no sense information and the weird stuff in parenthesis scrolling on the bottom. Its a Sata Optical drive in case I haven't mentioned it. I am not sure if that matters at all. I used another burn program (astroburn) and it burned fine with no errors. I am not sure what could be happening. If you need me to post another log let me know. I am actually going to be loading vista on my machine so I will be down for a while. I just really like your program and want to help discover any issues. If there are any, and its not just my goofy machine.
  21. I tried removing all the stuff. However the SM bus drivers had to be reinstalled. I am not sure if that has changed anything but I will let you know.
  22. Uinstalled new drivers and reinstalled original ones. Unfortunately still getting errors. I 16:21:09 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! 23. Not sure I can. I guess I will have to try and download the older version and install over the top of these. Not cool at all. Dam nvidia.
  24. Here is the only file that was in here when I re-opened it. I can try and burn something else and try to recreate the error if it is needed. ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 - Log ; Saturday, 27 September 2008, 12:07:19 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 11:22:41 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! 25. Sorry new to this. Where do I get the log? I will post it. Do I have to turn on a certain option to get it to log errors?
