I bought some Sony DVDs on the way home and it worked on the first try!

I have a feeling it may be the discs. I will try the 4x and see if that helps... Thank you so much for your help so far!!!!!

I just updated the firmware and I am trying to burn a dvd again. I will let you know if we have great success or failure again!

My computer is a Sony Vaio Laptop! I am downloading the firmware now and intstalling it.

I am a newbie to this program, but I have been using it for a few months now. It used to work just fine, but something is messing up now. The last 2 discs I have burned end in an error. The discs will play, but it messes up and will not skip scenes. Help! I love this program. I use it along with DVD decrypter, Menushrink, and DVD Shrink 3.2... I am just using it to backup home dvds I own. (I am a school teacher, so I like to carry copies of DVDs to school to show that way if they are stolen or messed up I don't have to buy a new one).
