is that dye any good?

im using datawrite dual layer disks, that are rated at 2.4x speed, when ever i try to burn something it will do some of it then give me an error. it used to work before but now i dont know why this is happening. i dont have the log at the moment but i have used about 6 disks, the log i was going to use in this post screwed up, as img burn itself just froze up at 48% burning (stopped writing) the usual thing the log says, is some sort of interpretation error any ideas?
