I have a Philips SPD8005BM/17 DVDRW drive. It will burn DVDRW DL, DVD-R, and CD-RW. It will not recognize any blank discs, only those with info on them. I have made four coasters with burned but unreadable media on the computer (Dell Optiples GX280 (sff)) with a 250 GB WDD 250 GB laptop style HDD. I have no Upper or Lower Filters. This drive will read just about anything that has something burned to it. It will not read blank media, ImgBurn will if I am making a disc.
When I burn something, I have to also verify, because WMP, Zoom Player, and VLC will not read it upon 100% and reboot.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the burner in Device Mgr also, still no luck. I have used Nero Clean Tool, also to no avail. How can I make files from the computer burn correctly in ImgBurn and then read them on my computer and on my standalone dvd player?
